It Takes a Village
Publishers take a risk every time they produce a book by fronting expenses for marketing, professionals like graphic designers, editors and proofreaders, and not to mention printing. Karin’s writing career began with The Naiad Press. After Barbara Grier and Donna McBride retired, all of her novel-length fiction was acquired by Linda Hill at Bella Books.
Translations have been licensed by publishers into Spanish (Editorial Egales), French (KTM Editions), German (Krug & Schadenberg), and Czech (LePress). Over the years she has also published dozens of short stories in anthologies produced by numerous presses, like Bold Strokes Books, Haworth Editions, and Alyson. Romance and Chocolate Ink is her imprint for independently published work.
