Bright and very early one Saturday morning long ago, Karin received her first phone call from Barbara Grier. “We want to publish your book,” Grier said bluntly.
The rest of the conversation is a blur. The association with Naiad Press began in 1988 with In Every Port, edited by Katherine V. Forrest, and lasted until Barbara and Donna McBride retired in 2003.
