Rampant Communityism in My Little Town
As a good library should, a few of the books I handled were sure to offend me, but I passed them right on; they belong in the library too. Our tiny library collection was actually dwarfed in the new space. Hmmm, maybe they’ll have room for more lesbian fiction titles, then!
Reality is Not Reality TV
Just because I have the passionate commitment about writing to put a story on the page doesn’t mean I have a right to the passionate commitment of others, let alone their money and time. I have to earn it and work to keep it.

When I suggest writing reviews, the statement I hear back is “But I don’t know how to do that!” Yes, you do. You bought the book. You read the book. You have an opinion and it matters.
WomYn are Better Together – Y Tour 2009
The Y Tour is about womYn working together, creating, building, dancing and reading. Several events are planned with Denver womYn’s and charitable groups.
1st Annual Gay and Lesbian Literary Arts Festival (GALLA)
The festival will feature at least 5 current and prominent GLBT literary arts figures, with an opening reception with the artists, readings, book signings, discussion panels, presentations, workshops, exhibits and social functions.
