Above Temptation was a manuscript in the drawer for so long that when it was time to revisit, all of the banking laws had changed, and banking fraud itself was a different style of crime. Kip and Tam turned out to be more informed than the author.
For the record, Karin can’t paint or play an instrument (so writes about both), has trouble following a recipe (ergo the food porn), and has little aptitude for hard science (even though smart is the new sexy). She does have a marginal talent for double-entry bookkeeping. All of this explains why Car Pool and Above Temptation feature super sexy accountants who love music and food.
