Anidyr Bycall’s name has two Russian inspirations. Lake Baikal, the largest freshwater lake in the world, and several places are named Anadyr in easternmost Russia. Anidyr is pronounced “Annie-dear” – At least that’s what her affectionate father says in Warming Trend.
