I’ve read a few books recently that have been fine but there has not been the compulsion to read quickly to see what happens next. With this there was. I could see the characters, there was enough description I could picture the town but not so much I was overwhelmed.
I like the humour, both the whimsical, the lols and the smirk inducing. Kallmaker can also make me well up and reach for my phone to search for solstice celebrations near me!
