True Confessions about Made-Up Things
Karin’s first few novels were typed on a Macintosh Plus and printed via dot matrix. Plus it had dueling double density disk drives. Good times.
Of all her books, Making Up for Lost Time is the only one where Karin didn’t know the title before she began writing it.
For the record, Karin can’t paint or play an instrument (so writes about both), has trouble following a recipe (ergo the food porn), and has little aptitude for hard science (even though smart is the new sexy). She does have a marginal talent for double-entry bookkeeping. All of this explains why Car Pool and Above Temptation feature super sexy accountants who love music and food.
