A Truth Universally Acknowledged – Just Like That Now on Nook and Kindle!

Karin Kallmaker Book News, Just Like That

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen – the original romance. One of the first novels to focus on the social and financial realities of women in her era, and to feature a female as an equal protagonist, it ends with love triumphant.

My own homage to the classic story of two people who find little to admire in the other but can’t seem to look away is now available on Kindle and Nook platforms. In addition to the two leads, there’s the garrulous Bennett, and of course an affable Bingley. It also features one of my favorite places on Earth: Napa wine country.

Just Like That features my variant on this famous first line:

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.

It’s been available since February, but with all the transitions I’m just getting around to sharing the word. If you buy Just Like That as an eBook from Bella Books, my publisher, you can download one or more formats and put them on the device of your choice. For example, you can email the MOBI to your Kindle, sideload the EPUB to your Nook or iPad/iBooks reader, or pick the one that will work with your smartphone or tablet set up. Same price, way more flexible. (And more of your dollars end up with the women who made the book possible, including me.)
